I felt closest to him when we were in Taiwan.
A place he grew up in.
We visited his primary school! He talked to me about his life in Taiwan. We saw the building he climbed up to change his answers.

We would walk down the streets, hand in hand.
He would point out certain things and share the memories he had made.
It was nice to know more about his life before he came to Singapore.
