the best of us
she was the best of us.
she was so pure, so strong and so resilient. life was never the easiest for her, but she never gave up and never got bitter. she loves so much, with her whole heart. even the people who've hurt her.
she was such a family person. a dedicated older sister and daughter.
one of my memories with her was the time we were eating teppanyaki at somerset. we ate this delicious plate of beansprouts and at first taste, she immediately took out her phone and texted her mother about it.
her love
she also made an effort to befriend other people/friends we were close with, and made an effort to be in our lives, like we did hers. she made everyone feel included.
i remember an occasion where one of us were out with the person we were dating then. phoe was around the area and 'stalked' them to take a selfie with the new couple. she was the first friend to have met their significant other, and it was hilarious because they weren't expecting it at all!
she constantly asked us about other people in our lives, wishing them well. "how is [name]? i saw her post about ___. she's so cool". i hope she knew that all my friends thought she was so cool too.
she never had a bad thing to say about anyone. everyone i knew who had met her, loved her. and she loved back. it was her strongest merit, she always loved unconditionally.

her humour

she was so funny, and weird in her own ways.
she had these quirks and she said the most hilarious things. we had these yearly christmas parties and themed powerpoint nights. one of our inside jokes was a line she learned online in portuguese; 'tetas an minha boca' which directly translates to t*ts in your mouth. everytime she said that, we would laugh so much! after she left us, it became our group chat name.
one year she showed up with "us as ao3 fanfics," the other year she 'rated' our taste in people.
when i picture her, she is always smiling and laughing.
